A study on intelligent grinding systems with industrial perspective

The digitization thrust on high-value manufacturing and services opens up new opportunities for ensuring total system uptime, reliability, efficiency particularly mission-critical assets. process evolves intelligent systems (IMS) which transforms maintenance into predictive reliability achieving consistent quality throughout process. This article unveils the grinding (IGS) challenging applications. In order to provide a better chance value addition, previous work has been scrutinized extensively in following aspects: models, design algorithms, monitoring. then leads an analysis of various previously designed IGS. main focus, especially early 2000s, was mainly database development parameter selection, shifted monitoring control as particular technology advances were made. goals that investigated, it evident researchers aiming online real-time system. notion driven by artificial intelligence improved sensors, example, acoustic emission sensors even other unusual like microphones more economical data collection analysis. Although tremendous strides have made, substantial amount is still required full-fledged comprehensive findings IGS concludes update from few hours milliseconds.
